Renewal Representative

This role is for a Renewal Representative at Postman, a leading API platform. The primary responsibility is to manage the customer renewal experience, ensuring timely renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and minimizing churn. The role involves collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams, using product usage data and CRM tools to manage renewals and forecast accurately. It is a product-led growth (PLG) SaaS environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a high volume of renewal opportunities across multiple customer segments, including self-serve and low-touch accounts.
  2. Proactively engage customers to confirm intent to renew, answer questions, and communicate the value they’re receiving from the product.
  3. Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on more complex or strategic renewals.
  4. Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities at the point of renewal and route qualified leads to Sales when appropriate.
  5. Use product usage data and customer health metrics to prioritize outreach and inform renewal strategies.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in a renewals, customer success, sales support, or operations role
  • Experience managing a book of business with high transaction volume
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Comfortable using tools like Salesforce, Gainsight, Stripe/Billing platforms, and similar platforms
  • Highly organized
