What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain working areas 5S
  2. Fit parts to machinery and equipment
  3. Make Quality Control checks on products
  4. Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities
  5. Train/coach new Assembly Technician’s/Apprentices within the area

Skills

Required

  • Operate to tight deadlines and cycle times
  • Demonstrable high level of assembly or mechanical aptitude and accuracy
  • Fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities (willing to work overtime)
  • Thorough working knowledge of the area and build experience of the workstations within which you will be working
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures
  • Attention to detail, able to work with own initiative and self-motivated
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various levels of the organization
  • Willing to undertake required training/learning

Nice to have

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing assembly environment.
  • Technical degree OR electronic test and troubleshooting skills commensurate with a Technical degree with equivalent work experience.
