Uber is building a Field Sales Team to increase supply in various cities in Mexico. The Field Sales Representative will be the eyes and ears of Uber in the market, ensuring supply meets demand by proactively connecting with potential driver partners through field visits and targeted calls, effectively communicating Uber's value proposition. The role involves identifying and finding prospects, acting as the voice of the driver partner, facilitating information sessions, participating in campaigns, managing interactions to understand needs, supporting drivers through the registration process, collaborating with stakeholders, creating scalable acquisition processes, and managing strategic alliances.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and find prospects (taxi drivers or independent drivers) directly in the field (80% of the time) to refer and/or convert to the platform.
  2. Act as the voice of the driver partner, capturing valuable information in each interaction.
  3. Facilitate information sessions with current and potential driver partners, clearly communicating Uber's value proposition.
  4. Participate in campaigns targeting potential or recently registered drivers.
  5. Manage interactions with active drivers or prospects to understand their needs, concerns, and goals; position Uber as a solution.
