This role is responsible for handling commercial customer inquiries, collecting delinquent balances, and retaining customers through negotiation and adherence to collection guidelines. It involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring data confidentiality, all within a remote work environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Reviewing past due commercial accounts to engage customers in negotiating payment arrangements for complex collections
  2. Complying with national credit and collection policies, alongside Federal, State, and Local regulations
  3. Utilizing multiple systems and tools to effectively resolve customer account issues
  4. Clarifying billing cycles, processes, prorates, and accurately communicating relevant fees to customers
  5. Processing payments securely and establishing policy-compliant payment arrangements
