Research Consultant- Oncology

This is an entry-level Research Consultant role in Oncology within Oracle Life Sciences. The role involves conducting research, data analysis, literature reviews, and client support for oncology business decisions. It requires a PhD or MS in Life Sciences with oncology experience and strong communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop in-depth expertise in CancerMPact across global regions (US, Europe, Japan, China) with a focus on current treatment practices and future competitive landscapes for 30 tumor types
  2. Conduct and analyze research supporting CancerMPact, including survey development, data analytics, literature reviews, clinical trial analysis, and landscape assessments
  3. Support oncology-focused custom consulting engagements through secondary research (e.g., clinical literature, conference abstracts) and primary research (e.g., qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys)
  4. Collaborate closely with internal teams across Market Research, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and other Oracle Life Sciences and Oracle Health domains on oncology relevant opportunities
  5. Contribute to proposal development and business development activities to foster and grow client relationships

Skills

Required

  • PhD in Life Sciences or MD with oncology experience; or M.S. in Life Sciences plus at least 1 year of relevant pharmaceutical or consulting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
