Oracle Life Sciences seeks a Research Consultant to join our CancerMPact and Oncology Consulting team. CancerMPact is trusted by 100% of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies to inform complex oncology business decisions through robust market analyses and strategic insights. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for early-career professionals eager to develop expertise in oncology and life sciences consulting. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to research, analytics, and report writing for our syndicated products, as well as participate in custom oncology consulting projects and client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Product & Content Subject Matter Expert (CancerMPact®)
- Develop in-depth expertise in CancerMPact across global regions (US, Europe, Japan, China) with a focus on current treatment practices and future competitive landscapes for 30 tumor types
- Conduct and analyze research supporting CancerMPact, including survey development, data analytics, literature reviews, clinical trial analysis, and landscape assessments
- Continuously expand industry knowledge via clinical literature, company updates, conferences, and engagement with internal experts
- Client Engagement & Consulting Support
- Support oncology-focused custom consulting engagements through secondary research (e.g., clinical literature, conference abstracts) and primary research (e.g., qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys)
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Market Research, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and other Oracle Life Sciences and Oracle Health domains on oncology relevant opportunities
- Contribute to proposal development and business development activities to foster and grow client relationships
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD in Life Sciences or MD with oncology experience; or
- M.S. in Life Sciences plus at least 1 year of relevant pharmaceutical or consulting experience
- Demonstrated interest or experience in Oncology is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest or experience in consulting preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

US: Hiring Range in USD from $30.29 to $60.63 per hour; from: $63,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
