Manager for consumer-focused market research, marketing, or consulting within Uber's Delivery & Mobility division. This role will lead primary research (quantitative and qualitative) to advise on product development, campaigns, and marketing strategies, acting as the voice of the consumer and influencing insight-driven decisions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and execute market research across key consumer audiences, collaborating with a diverse set of cross-functional teams.
  2. Guide creative development from brief to execution for all US&C Delivery & Mobility campaigns
  3. Lead all aspects of vendor management to conduct both qualitative and quantitative primary research studies as well explore secondary data sources as needed.
  4. Deliver insights and influence leadership to drive deeper understanding of key audiences and integration into strategy.
  5. Work closely with other researchers on the team to develop and scale more efficient and effective ways of conducting research.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of work experience in consumer-focused market research, marketing, or consulting
  • Bachelor degree in market research, statistics, economics or a related field

Nice to have

  • Experience in campaign development research
  • Hands-on experience at a research supplier - writing questionnaires and discussion guides, fielding research, etc.
  • Excellent critical thinking, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for using insights from multiple sources to guide strategy.
  • Ability to work in a quick-moving environment and prioritize among projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Intellectually curious and inquisitive with a genuine passion for problem solving and ability to think quickly on one’s feet to ensure success of research projects in a changing environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with a large and diverse set of leaders, team members, and vendors.
  • Experience working in a consumer or tech focused company.
