  2. Conduct critical research in AI auto research and self-improvement.
  3. Anticipate where the next major research breakthroughs will come from, and build research agendas around new paradigms.
  4. Execute, as a team, on the most promising research agendas.
  5. Communicate research findings clearly through plots, writeups, and paper-ready narratives, while contributing to a team culture of first-principles thinking, high standards, and constructive feedback.

Skills

Required

  • PhD in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience leading a research agenda
  • Experience conducting research in Reinforcement Learning (RL) or reasoning
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)
  • Experience in AI research labs
  • One or more scientific publication submission(s) for conferences, journals, or public repositories as first author

Nice to have

  • 2 years of experience in coding and leading multiple research efforts and influencing research direction
  • Experience driving research projects from conception to completion
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
