This role is for a Researcher at Apollo.io, a B2B SaaS company. The researcher will conduct in-depth user research, develop personas and journey maps, perform iterative testing, and analyze user data to inform product development and company strategy. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship of junior researchers. A key aspect is actively incorporating AI to accelerate analysis and synthesize insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute user research activities, including but not limited to foundational research, usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies, to gather valuable insights into user behaviors, needs, and preferences.
  2. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of user personas and journey maps, helping to establish a user-centric framework for product development.
  3. Work within the agile development process to integrate iterative testing and feedback loops, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout the product development life cycle.
  4. Plan and facilitate usability testing sessions, including recruitment, script development, and post-session analysis.
  5. Collect and analyze user data, synthesizing findings into clear and actionable insights.
