This role focuses on researching and designing AI-powered products within Salesforce's AI CRM platform, emphasizing human-centered, ethical, and trustworthy AI experiences. The researcher will lead initiatives to understand user interaction with AI, translate insights into design decisions, and define methodologies for emerging AI paradigms like conversational AI, generative AI, and agentic systems. The role requires strong UX research skills, experience with AI/ML products, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end research initiatives that inform the design and direction of AI-powered products and features
  2. Partner closely with product design, engineering, and product management to translate research insights into actionable design decisions
  3. Define and evolve research methodologies for emerging AI interaction paradigms — including conversational AI, generative AI, and agentic systems
  4. Conduct generative and evaluative research using a range of methods (interviews, usability studies, surveys, diary studies, concept testing, etc.)
  5. Synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling narratives for executive and cross-functional audiences
