Bank of America is seeking a Residential Real Estate Specialist to provide expertise to UHNW clients for financing residential real estate. This role involves structuring and pricing products, obtaining financial documentation, and collaborating with client teams and product partners. The specialist will act as a product champion, requiring strong credit/underwriting skills, deep mortgage product knowledge, and market expertise. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales/underwriting within the residential real estate wealth management business is required, along with SAFE Act registration.

What you'd actually do

  1. The RRES is the primary source of expertise for UHNW clients to deliver solutions for their complex and unique needs in financing residential real estate.
  2. Working in concert with the client team to ensure a holistic approach, the RRES facilitates structure and pricing of the product(s) that best fits the clients overall financial objectives.
  3. In addition, he/she works with the client and client team to obtain all financial documentation necessary.
  4. The RRES works closely with his/her partners within the product to ensure a smooth process, while communicating effectively and consistently with the client and client team throughout the process.
  5. The RRES serves as the product champion, communicating product, policy and program enhancements to client managers/advisors.
