Resolution Analyst

This role focuses on identifying and driving the resolution of cybersecurity risks within Bank of America's Cyber Threat Defense Framework. The Resolution Analyst will manage relationships with action owners, collaborate with the Cyber Threat Evaluation and Prevention organization, and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Key responsibilities include examining threat evaluation information, driving remediation efforts, understanding information security threats, translating technical findings into business impacts, and aligning stakeholders to reduce risk. The role requires experience with information security controls, data analysis, and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Examine threat evaluation information and lead engagement with subject matter experts to identify actions to reduce risk through remediation efforts.
  2. Reduce risk by driving and influencing remediation work in alignment with the known threat environment, ensuring effective and sustainable outcomes.
  3. Work with relevant control owners and technology teams to understand and identify areas for improvement in the identification of and response to information security threats and incidents.
  4. Translate complex technical findings into clear risk, control, and business impacts to support decision making.
  5. Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders to ensure progress on risk reduction efforts in the absence of direct authority.

  • 3 years of professional experience with information security controls
