This role is for a Senior Resort Wide Systems Engineer responsible for telecommunications, alarm, and low voltage systems within Disney theme parks and resorts. The engineer will collaborate with partners, lead design teams, translate requirements into designs, support facility design, review drawings, resolve issues, and ensure systems installation and testing meet requirements. The role requires extensive experience in telecommunications design, field support, and integration, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with internal partners to identify operational and functional requirements
  2. Lead an engineering team in the production of engineering designs, documentation for multiple projects through all phases of engineering design, production, installation, testing, and documentation
  3. Translate systems user's functional requirements into design requirements
  4. Support Facility design for equipment details such as utilities including electrical power and equipment cooling/heating loads
  5. Review and authorize for release detailed, layout and design drawings

Skills

Required

  • 7 years of more experience in related field
  • Demonstrated skill in Telecommunications design and field support
  • Experience with Field Integration (Test & Adjust) and Engineering Analysis
  • Ability to adhere to UL / NEC / ASTM standards
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet/AirTable or similar tools
  • Knowledge of complex telecommunications, alarm, and low voltage systems
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally required
  • Bachelor of Science Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering required

Nice to have

  • BICSI RCDD Certification
  • Proficiency with Revit or similar modeling tools
  • Familiarity with Disney Telecommunications Infrastructure and RWS standards
  • Master of Science preferred
