Databricks is seeking a Go-to-Market Leader for EMEA Retail & Consumer Goods to architect and execute a strategy from the ground up. This role involves building relationships with clients and partners, identifying high-value use cases, and establishing Databricks as a thought leader in the industry. The ideal candidate has senior leadership experience in Retail or Consumer Goods, entrepreneurial drive, and a strong understanding of the data and AI landscape.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and execute a go-to-market strategy that doesn't yet exist in its final form.
  2. Identify the highest-value use cases and industry-specific opportunities—demand forecasting, unified customer intelligence, supply chain optimization, real-time pricing—and build scalable programs that systematically convert these opportunities into revenue.
  3. Identify, cultivate, and scale relationships with the partners who will amplify our reach.
  4. Use rigorous analysis to surface gaps, inefficiencies, and untapped opportunities within our go-to-market approach.
  5. Create comprehensive, scalable sales initiatives tailored to EMEA's diverse geographies while contributing frameworks that support Americas and APJ.

Skills

Required

  • Senior leadership or practitioner roles in Retail or Consumer Goods
  • Experience constructing vertical go-to-market programs on technology platforms
  • Experience engaging with CXOs and senior business leaders
  • Experience leading large-scale change initiatives
  • Familiarity with the data and AI landscape
  • Familiarity with retail technology standards
  • Understanding of European regulatory environment (GDPR, Greenhouse Gas Compliance, food waste, sustainability reporting)

  • Fluent in English
