What you'd actually do

  1. Your objectives will be to help build the best possible selection for our customers with the development of partnerships with new vendors. Your job will consist of prospecting, assessing, reaching out to and launching new vendors on Amazon. In your day-to-day job, you will be faced with numerous challenges such as: Identify, prospect and reach out to new vendors, analyze their potential for Amazon. You will lead first steps, by cold-calling potential partners or attending commercial events and trade fairs and confidently explaining advantages and benefits of partnering with Amazon
  2. Be a business consultant to new vendors: you will help with the entire recruitment cycle of new vendors from your pipeline, able to work autonomously. Help new vendors to integrate their catalogue data into Amazon platform, master Amazon’s internal tools, and train vendors on how to use these tools.
  3. Grow the vendor’s full product selection and availability on Amazon to ensure ideal customer experience. Support in optimizing the online presence and content of each product on the vendor's portfolio. Plan, conduct, deliver and report analyses to understand the performance of new vendors
  4. Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, buying, marketing and promotions to achieve business objectives. Manage profitability – through proactive negotiation of costs, promotional opportunities, and other business inputs
  5. Own projects and drive results on the projects working with cross functional stakeholders.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional internal and external audiences
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite

Nice to have

  • Experience in Retail business management or consulting, including negotiations
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPI
  • Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities
  • Fluent French speaker
  • Knowledge of additional EU languages
