This is a hybrid position based in our Bangalore office. General working hours for this role will be 2pm-11pm IST during the weekdays.

What you'll be doing
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision, including the preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliation schedules.
- Conduct thorough research and documentation of accounting treatments for non-standard revenue transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Unity’s financial close procedures, and provide assistance with monthly reporting and flux analysis.
- Work closely with business and operational team to address the billing and collection queries
- Drive process improvements and automation efforts, maintain standard operating procedures, and support audit requirements while assisting management with special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
What we're looking for
- Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contract with Customers
- Strong team player that is willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Superb communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of excel at an intermediate level
You might also have
- Experience with BI Systems, Salesforce, Workday Financials and/or NetSuite
- Ability to work with team members spread across multiple locations.
- Proven attention to detail and eager to learn and try new things
