JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President for their Wholesale Credit Risk Forecasting Team. This role focuses on data sourcing, analytics, and delivering credit risk modeling and strategic innovation for technology platforms to meet regulatory requirements like CCAR/Stress Testing. Responsibilities include executing quarterly forecasts, collaborating on stress testing workflows, liaising with business lines, performing control and reconciliation, navigating databases for data analysis and transformation, and designing/developing tools (Python/SQL/Tableau/AI based) to automate data processes and assess data quality. The role requires understanding forecasting regression models and architecture, and identifying issues in data flow.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute and deliver the quarterly stress and allowance forecasting results with focus on data needs
  2. Collaborate and support the strategic build-out of stress testing workflow/dataflow for future initiatives
  3. Liaise with partners and LOBs to improve and enhance the forecasting process
  4. Perform control and reconciliation against deliveries in addition to creating/enhancing formal governance
  5. Navigate through database and data systems to perform data analysis, segmentation, transformation to prepare various datasets

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS degree in computers, mathematics, finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a finance organization with data analytics and/or credit risk
  • Ability to organize work and solve problems independently and excel in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal

Nice to have

  • knowledge of CCAR/Economic Capital/Stress Testing/Basel in Wholesale Credit Commercial &Industrial and/or commercial real estate is preferred but not required
  • Technologically savvy with an ability to understand systems and their internal functionality
  • Coding knowledge and experience in Python/SQL is desirable but not required
  • Understanding of big-data analytics and strategic data synthesis is desirable
  • Proactive, self-starter with ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Tableau and data visualization familiarity preferred
