Project Manager, Vice President within Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB), Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) organization, responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of model development projects. This role involves working with model developers, reviewers, implementation, production, and business teams to ensure efficient model development and adherence to business objectives, quality control, and industry standards. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing the Book of Work, ensuring timely documentation submission, developing project plans, partnering with control functions, supervising remediation of findings, managing quality assurance, and supporting the adoption of new technologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage stakeholder relationships by conducting regular meetings with model users to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
  2. Oversee the planning and execution of the Book of Work for all model development teams.
  3. Manage daily operations, including ensuring the timely submission of model documentation.
  4. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  5. Partner with internal control functions, including Internal Audit, Control Management, and Model Risk Governance and Review, to ensure adherence to the firm's policies and governance processes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a quantitative field, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in model development.
  • Proficiency with, and willingness to use, firm-approved AI tools to improve productivity and quality while adhering to applicable policies, controls, and data handling requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Nice to have
