  4. The Senior Manager engages with SVPs and the VEL Executive Leadership Team, providing clear product insights, recommendations and trade‑offs to support confident decision‑making
  5. Leading complex, cross‑functional product initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority, and embedding disciplined product governance and ownership

Skills

Required

  • Extensive experience in product management within payments, financial services, or regulated technology environments
  • Deep understanding of the European payments ecosystem, including market dynamics, client needs, regulatory landscape, and competitive trends
  • Knowledge of payment products, platforms and services, and how technology enables scalable, resilient solutions
  • Proven track record of defining product strategy, building roadmaps, and delivering products through complex, matrixed organisations
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and data into clear product insights, business cases and executive‑level recommendations
  • Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of how products drive revenue, client value and strategic outcomes
  • Experience working effectively with Risk, Legal, Compliance and Technology partners to deliver products in line with governance and regulatory expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders (VP/SVP/ELT level) through clear, structured and data‑driven communication
  • Proven people leadership and coaching capability, with experience building high‑performing, collaborative teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation and delivery of executive‑level materials.
