Robot Integration and Test Technician

Physical Intelligence is developing foundation models and learning algorithms for robots. This role involves testing and integrating new robot platforms into their fleet, performing quality control, setup, provisioning, functional testing, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or software faults.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform detailed quality control checks on new robots to verify components are installed correctly and hardware is in correct configuration.
  2. Follow documentation procedures to set up and provision hardware, software, and firmware components of new robots.
  3. Execute on functional and technical performance tests on robots following fleet integration acceptance criteria.
  4. Identify and document mechanical, electrical, or software faults in robots and peripheral equipment.
