Seeking Robotics and Controls Engineers to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, and designs for robotic cells, controls systems, electrical cabinets, and automated hardware systems. The role involves supporting the design, build, and commissioning of end-effectors, performing engineering activities including integration and testing, and influencing automated engineering processes. Collaboration with customers and stakeholders is key, as is supporting agile project management. The role is for Boeing's Advanced Manufacturing Technology team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for robotic cells, controls systems, electrical cabinets and automated hardware systems
  2. Support the design, build and commissioning of unique end-effectors for automated manufacturing processes
  3. Perform engineering activities including development, integration and testing of automated hardware systems and/or software
  4. Influence, innovate and continuously improve automated engineering processes as well as the quality, safety and reliability of our products and services
  5. Collaborate proactively with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand operational and performance requirements

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience in automation and robotic controls engineering
