Robotics Software Engineer - Sim-to-real

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Zurich, Switzerland

Robotics Software Engineer focused on Sim-to-Real for humanoid robots, involving building reference platforms, integrating NVIDIA robotics products, and deploying controllers, manipulation policies, and embedded agents. Requires C++, Python, PyTorch, ROS2, physics simulators, and experience with learning-based robotics like sim-to-real RL training and fine-tuning.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the forefront of Physical AI progress in both simulated and real humanoid robots by building the humanoid reference platform that features NVIDIA's robotics technologies.
  2. Work together with various groups to seamlessly incorporate NVIDIA robotics products like Jetson Thor, Isaac Sim/Lab, Isaac ROS into all-encompassing solutions for humanoid robots.
  3. Work on making things function seamlessly on real robots in our Zurich lab, focusing on training and deploying whole-body controllers, manipulation policies (VLA/WAM) and embedded agents (CaP).
