Johnson & Johnson is seeking a RoMea Surgery Supply Chain Sr Specialist in Dubai, UAE. This role focuses on end-to-end supply chain activities for the Surgery franchise, including demand planning, collaborating with stakeholders, and improving operational efficiencies. Responsibilities include maintaining sales data, gathering assumptions, producing unconstrained demand plans using statistical modeling, managing the IBP process, analyzing gaps, and tracking forecast accuracy. The role also involves risk management for supply criticalities and regulatory transitions, as well as owning NPI project management from a supply chain perspective. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Engineering or Business Management, over 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, hands-on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and IBP, and proficiency in Excel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain and understand the sales data at different aggregation levels (Brands, Sub-brands, SKUs, variants, sizes, Distribution channels, demand groups and demand locations).
  2. Gather information and document assumptions based on historical data, business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers, and other sources.
  3. Produce unconstrained base demand plan utilizing statistical modelling in collaboration with Central planning team.
  4. Facilitate parts of the IBP process to gain consensus and alignment with all stakeholders involved in the process to arrive at one unbiased aligned number, practicing the IBP concepts.
  5. Measure and track the forecast accuracy at different levels and initiate action plans to continuously improve forecast accuracy.

Skills

Required

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Management, or similar.
  • >5 years’ experience, in Supply Chain.
  • Hands on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and IBP.
  • Prior ERP experience.
  • Experience working with quantitative & qualitative numbers, creating reports
  • Ability to explain/ communicate the business situation in a clear report, .etc
  • Expert in Excel

Nice to have

  • Courses in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • IBP experience or qualification.
  • Skilled enough in Word and Power Point
