Rtl Power Optimization – New College Grad 2026

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

NVIDIA is seeking a New College Grad for RTL Power Optimization, focusing on AI-based solutions for GPU and networking chips. The role involves using AI/ML techniques to optimize power efficiency in hardware design, collaborating with various engineering teams, and analyzing power data. Requires coursework/experience in AI/ML, digital design, VLSI, and Python programming.

What you'd actually do

  1. Use artificial intelligence to devliver RTL and/or Architecture Power optimization solutions.
  2. Use internally developed tools and industry standard pre-silicon gate-level and RTL power analysis tools, to help improve product power efficiency.
  3. Develop and share best practices for performing pre-silicon power analysis.
  4. Perform comparative power analysis, to spot trends and anomalies, that warrant more scrutiny.
  5. Interact with architects and RTL designers to help them interpret their power data and identify power bugs; drive them to implement fixes.
