Salesforce is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales to lead a team of Regional Sales Directors and account executives in the CBU organization. The RVP will be responsible for generating revenue, achieving quotas, and contributing to sales strategy. This role involves supporting direct reports, mentoring and developing the sales team, conducting forecast meetings, and reporting on sales activity. Required experience includes pipeline management, closing large deals, second-line management experience, managing significant recurrent revenue, and P&L experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support direct reports by participating and leading client and prospect meetings. Engage other corporate resources as the need arises
  2. Ongoing mentorship and development of a sales team which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new Account Executives on the sales process
  3. Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Mentor the team regarding strategies to drive closure
  4. Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
  5. Consistently supervise the sales activity of the team, and track the results
