Salesforce is seeking a Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales for Data Cloud 360 & AI in Zurich, Switzerland. This leadership role focuses on driving sales growth for Salesforce's AI-powered Customer Data Platform, managing a team of Account Executives, and developing strategic customer acquisition plans. The position requires extensive sales management experience, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and experience selling complex enterprise software and cloud data platforms. The role emphasizes building and leading a high-performing sales team within a matrixed organization, fostering a supportive culture, and driving operational excellence to achieve consistent performance and customer success.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop a Sales Team distinguished by its supportive and inclusive culture, operational excellence, teamwork, commitment to professional development and consistent performance.
  2. Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate strong annual growth in revenue and bookings.
  3. Manage overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.
  4. Hold yourself and your team accountable to quota attainment. Meet and exceed pipeline generation and sales goals.
  5. Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams including industry marketing, product development, field and industry marketing, strategic operations, product management, and recruiting.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a sales manager
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers
  • Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy and execution
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities
  • Sales experience and revenue achievement selling complex software offerings primarily at the C-level
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing sales organization
  • Fluent in English and German

Nice to have

  • Experience selling modern enterprise cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query)
