This role is for an experienced Sales Commissions Manager to build and manage the end-to-end process of calculating and distributing sales commissions and bonuses. It involves managing commission software, creating reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining compliance within a SOX-compliant environment. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in sales compensation administration and financial reporting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee the end-to-end process of calculating and distributing sales commissions and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of variable payouts
  2. Manage and maintain our commission tool software (Spiff) and define strategies to improve how we use it to administer commissions
  3. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the sales commission program
  4. Create, maintain, and track sales commission and sales-related bonus calculation files
  5. Provide recommendations on compensation strategy

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience on sales commission calculations and sales compensation administration
  • Solid understanding of the sales commission payments process and impact on financials
  • Ability to manage workload in a SOX-compliant environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, advanced formulas and functions

Nice to have

  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience using Spiff is a plus
