Okta is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to manage and process sales incentives, ensuring accurate and timely payouts. This role involves collaborating with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR, identifying process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. The analyst will act as a key advisor, translating complex commission structures into actionable data for the sales force.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the end-to-end monthly/quarterly commission cycle, ensuring accurate and timely payouts for the global sales force.
  2. Identify "bottlenecks" in the current payout workflow and implement automated solutions to reduce manual errors.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries regarding compensation. Research and resolve discrepancies with a high level of professional empathy.
  4. Ensure compliance with all internal controls, company policies, and external regulations related to sales compensation.
  5. Maintain rigorous documentation for audit purposes (SOX compliance) and ensure all payments adhere to internal policies.
