Stripe is seeking an experienced Sales Compensation Design Lead to manage the design, implementation, and performance assessment of their global sales compensation program. This role involves aligning compensation strategies with company objectives, leading annual plan design cycles, implementing metrics, and evaluating plan effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales compensation, strong analytical and modeling skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership across sales, finance, and HR.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the annual sales compensation plan design cycle for specific sales teams. This includes obtaining input and stakeholder approval for the proposed compensation structures.
  2. Implement metrics for the plans that are specific, measurable, and align with company priorities.
  3. Own the rollout and enablement of the compensation plans.
  4. Conduct frequent quantitative measurement of the compensation plan effectiveness and apply learnings to the annual plan design process.
  5. Propose, evaluate, design, and measure the effectiveness of SPIFFs.
