This is a Sales Development Coordinator role at Intercom, an AI Customer Service company. The role focuses on early-stage sales processes, lead qualification, account research, and preparing sales materials. It is a 6-month fixed-term contract intended as a stepping stone into a full-time Sales Development Representative position.

What you'd actually do

  1. Follow up on inbound leads and engage with early-stage prospects, helping qualify interest and route opportunities appropriately
  2. Conduct account and prospect research to support outbound efforts
  3. Build organisation maps for key personas, including roles across Customer Support, Product, AI, and Digital Transformation
  4. Prepare call briefs and account summaries to help AEs and BDRs engage effectively ahead of meetings

Skills

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Technology, or a related field or early in your career with less than 2 years of professional experience
  • Comfortable engaging with prospects via email and phone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using tools such as LinkedIn and Google Workspace
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage tasks independently with light guidance
  • Curious about technology, AI, sales, and customer experience
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Motivated to build a long-term career in sales
