Sales Development Representative

This role is not AI-related as it is a Sales Development Representative position focused on building the top of the sales funnel for a software company. The core responsibilities involve qualifying leads, collaborating with sales and marketing, conducting outbound prospecting, running email campaigns, analyzing industry trends, utilizing CRM systems, and meeting sales targets. While the company develops AI technology, this role does not involve building or directly working with AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales leads, delivering high-quality, qualified leads to our sales team.
  2. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build regular sales campaigns and systematically improve the lead qualification processes.
  3. Consistently produce a high level of outbound prospecting activity.
  4. Run email campaigns to produce new sales prospects.
  5. Analyze industry trends and segments to create new sources of qualified leads.

Skills

Required

  • 6 months to 1 year of previous Lead Generation or Sales Development experience.
  • Experience collaborating and developing positive business relationships.
  • Worked with deadlines, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
  • Gathered and used data to inform and persuade others.
  • Developed compelling strategies that meet targets.
  • Experience with CRM-related tools (i.e. Salesforce.com) and lead qualification-related applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in related field.
