Verkada is seeking a Sales Development Representative (AAE) to join their AI-powered physical security platform company. The role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and educating leads to generate meetings and opportunities for Account Executives. This is a sales role within a company that utilizes AI in its products, but the role itself is not directly involved in building or researching AI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads into prospects
  2. Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Verkada can solve them
  3. Pro-actively generate meetings and opportunities for Account Executives by positioning the value of Verkada
  4. Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
  5. Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to your assigned Account Executives

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant working experience
  • Written & verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week
  • Must be eligible to work in the US

Nice to have

  • Salesforce.com and Outreach experience is a plus
