Verkada is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their AI-powered physical security platform sales team. The role focuses on prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating meetings for Account Executives. This is a sales role within an AI company, not a role that builds AI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads into prospects
  2. Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Verkada can solve them
  3. Pro-actively generate meetings and opportunities for Account Executives by positioning the value of Verkada
  4. Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
  5. Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to your assigned Account Executives

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant working experience
  • Written & verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
