Verkada is seeking a Sales Development Representative (AAE) to join their AI-powered physical security platform company. This role is part of the "Verkademy" program, designed to train sales associates for closing roles. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating meetings for Account Executives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, high-energy, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads into prospects
  2. Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Verkada can solve them
  3. Pro-actively generate meetings and opportunities for Account Executives by positioning the value of Verkada
  4. Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
  5. Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to your assigned Account Executives
