Sales Development Representative

LangChain is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their founding SDR team. This role will focus on turning inbound interest and outbound demand into qualified opportunities, working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations. The SDR will leverage AI, automation, and LangChain itself to automate tasks like list building and outreach, allowing them to focus on high-impact prospecting and conversations with teams exploring agentic AI. The role involves following up with prospects, partnering with Account Executives, capturing insights, and experimenting with new channels and messaging.

What you'd actually do

  1. Follow up with inbound and outbound prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to uncover fit, needs, and potential value.
  2. Partner closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and ensure a smooth buyer experience.
  3. Capture and share insights from conversations to inform our sales plays, product roadmap, and agent development.
  4. Experiment with new channels, messaging, and automation to continuously increase conversion and efficiency.
  5. Use LangChain powered agents to test, learn, and improve prospecting strategies

Skills

Required

  • 1–2 years of experience in a Sales, SDR, or BDR role within SaaS or technology
  • Clear, confident communicator who can engage both technical and business audiences
  • Motivated by learning, iteration, and experimentation
  • Comfortable with a mix of structure and ambiguity
  • Excited about modern sales tech, AI tools, and shaping how next-generation GTM teams operate
  • Positive, persistent, and highly organized
