Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Sumo Logic, a company providing an Intelligent Operations Platform with AI-powered SIEM and log analytics. The role focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers to generate sales opportunities and pipeline growth. Responsibilities include prospecting, booking meetings, qualifying leads, and leveraging a sales tech stack. Requires 2+ years of sales/BD experience, a hunter mentality, and strong communication skills. The company uses AI in its product but the role itself is sales-focused.

What you'd actually do

  1. Research, identify, and prospect new customer accounts within your assigned territory
  2. Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and targeted networking across multiple buyer personas (including Director, VP, and C-level)
  3. Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into sales-ready opportunities
  4. Deliver relevant marketing content to prospective customers and promote marketing events.
  5. Leverage a modern prospecting tech stack including HockeyStack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Outreach, Qualified, and more
  6. Partner closely with Account Executives to build and execute a shared territory plan-of-attack, ensuring the right message reaches the right prospects at the right time

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
