This is a Sales Development Representative role for an AI company. The role focuses on outbound sales activities, identifying client needs, and qualifying leads. While the company is in the AI space and encourages the use of AI tools, the core responsibilities of this role are sales-focused and do not involve building or directly working with AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contact potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails
  2. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  3. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  4. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  5. Exercise leadership, demonstrate effective sales planning, and work in a positive and motivating way with internal counterparts and external customers.

Skills

Required

  • 6 months - 1 plus years proven work experience as a Business Development Rep
  • Fluency in German
  • Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value
  • Strong, professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
