Sales Development Representative, German Speaking

This role is for a Sales Development Representative focused on selling Abnormal AI's security products. While the company is in the AI space and encourages the use of AI tools for sales tasks, the core function of the role is sales, not building or researching AI/ML models. The role involves outbound prospecting, identifying client needs, and qualifying leads. The company uses AI tools, and candidates are encouraged to leverage them, but this does not make the role AI-related in terms of core craft.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contact potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails
  2. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  3. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  4. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  5. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets

Skills

Required

  • 6 months - 1 plus years proven work experience as a Business Development Rep
  • Fluency in German
  • Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value
  • Strong, professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
