Sales Development Representative role focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for a growing SaaS company. The role involves understanding the product, identifying strategic accounts using various sales tools, developing prospecting strategies, coordinating meetings, and handling objections. While not directly building AI, the role is expected to be open to using AI tools to enhance their work and demonstrate curiosity and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.

What you'd actually do

  1. Have a strong understanding of Vanta’s value proposition and product
  2. Master the process of identifying strategic accounts using tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Linkedin Sales Nav, and 6Sense, that will help us move up market
  3. Organize a multi-channel approach to prospecting and and maximize efforts by developing sequences in Outreach
  4. Coordinate meetings on account executive’s calendars and log activities
  5. Efficiently and gracefully counter objections, as well as have excellent interpersonal & technical skills

Skills

Required

  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in a pipeline-generating Sales role
  • Ability to manage current Outbound Engine
  • Self-starter who enjoys creating process and procedures for a scaling business
  • Highly empathetic to prospects as a strong brand representative for Vanta
  • Stellar problem solving chops, and an enthusiasm for making a large impact early on at a start-up
  • Able to commute to come in office hybrid 3 days per week
