Deel is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Japan to generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, identify and qualify prospective clients, and schedule product demonstrations. This role involves collaborating with sales and marketing teams, maintaining CRM records, and achieving monthly and quarterly targets. The ideal candidate has native Japanese ability, at least 1 year of sales development experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset. Experience in HR or Fintech is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including email, phone, and social media outreach
  2. Identify and qualify prospective clients by understanding their needs and challenges
  3. Schedule product demonstrations for qualified prospects with Account Executives
  4. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies
  5. Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation across mix of segments - SMB, MM & ENT

Skills

Required

  • Native Japanese ability
  • 1 year of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role
