Sales Development Representative role focused on engaging users, partnering with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, and developing transferable skills. The role involves researching target accounts, crafting messaging, driving business conversations, and using AI as a tool for productivity. It requires building knowledge of technology and industry trends, following up on inbound leads, proactive outreach, using Salesforce and Grafana dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and maintain knowledge of our technology, competitors, open source ecosystem, and industry trends
  2. Follow up on inbound leads effectively and efficiently
  3. Use a multi-channel approach (email, social, calling) to proactively outreach to new leads within target accounts; our top SDRs are confident and effective on the phone
  4. Use Salesforce and Grafana dashboards for lead and account management and research
  5. Drive effective discovery conversations to understand users’ needs and goals in to provide them the appropriate resources and communicate how Grafana can help them
