Sales Development Representative, Portuguese Speaking

GitLab is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) fluent in Portuguese to join their Revenue Marketing team. This role focuses on initial outreach to targeted accounts, generating qualified meetings and pipeline for the sales organization by leveraging creative marketing and sales tactics. The SDR will manage inbound leads, conduct discovery conversations, collaborate with marketing and sales teams, research accounts, and utilize Salesforce and Outreach.io for activity management. While not directly building AI, the role is within a company that emphasizes AI as a core productivity tool for all employees.

What you'd actually do

  1. Effectively manage inbound lead flow
  2. Conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts
  3. Meet or exceed SDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets
  4. Collaborate with and leverage teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities
  5. Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts
