This role is for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the UKI region for Abnormal AI. The SDR will be responsible for outbound prospecting, identifying client needs, qualifying leads, and meeting sales targets. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. While the company is in the AI space and encourages the use of AI tools for prospecting, the core function of the role is sales, not AI development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contact potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails
  2. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  3. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  4. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  5. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets

Required

  • 6 months - 1 plus years proven work experience as a Business Development Rep
  • Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value
  • Strong, professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
