Sales Engineer - Fraud

Sales Engineer role focused on Plaid's emerging products, particularly in the Fraud domain. The role involves acting as a technical advisor in the pre-sales process, demonstrating Plaid's capabilities, building solutions, handling RFPs, and supporting Proofs of Concept (POCs) to drive adoption and revenue.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the lead technical product lead for Enterprise accounts throughout the sales process
  2. Partner with Account Executives to demonstrate to prospects how Plaid can best address their use cases and technical requirements.
  3. Specifically, to design solutions and share best practices throughout the sales process.
  4. Engage deeply with technical stakeholders in the pre-sales process to drive alignment and buy-in
  5. Provide demonstrations, address technical questions, architect implementation solution(s) and handle RFP responses in a thorough and expedient manner

Skills

Required

  • 5-7+ years of customer facing experience selling to large enterprises
  • Strong communications skills with a confident and proactive approach to client management.
  • Consultative mindset with ability to translate technical choices into business value
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts quickly
  • Knowledge of mobile and web application architecture specific to interfacing with API platforms
