Sales Manager - Commercial

Stripe is hiring a Sales Manager for their Commercial New Business team in DACH. This role focuses on new customer acquisition, setting long-term strategy, leading and coaching account executives, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience, a track record of leading teams in ambiguous environments, and experience in forecasting and managing high-growth businesses. Fluency in German and English is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Recruit, develop and lead a team of sales professionals, with a particular focus on the Commercial segment in DACH
  2. Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics
  3. Be accountable for increasing revenue and new client acquisition at high rates of growth
  4. Driving deal strategy and execution including strong pipeline development, opportunity/renewal management, and forecasting
  5. Inspire, motivate and enable personal and career development of team members, both to promote career growth and to increase impact for Stripe
