Sales Manager, Fintech

Plaid Plaid · Fintech · New York, NY · All Departments

Sales Manager for Plaid's Fintech team, focusing on managing Named Account Executives, driving expansion in existing accounts, acquiring new logos, and coaching the team to achieve revenue targets. The role involves strategic account planning, cross-functional collaboration, and developing sales talent within the fintech sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a team of 6–8 Named Account Executives focused on Plaid’s largest fintech accounts, driving growth through expansion of existing relationships and competitive new logo acquisition.
  2. Coach AEs to identify and drive expansion opportunities proactively — new products, new use cases, new business units — rather than waiting for inbound signals.
  3. Build and refine the account strategy for Plaid’s top fintech customers alongside your AEs, including executive value messaging, pitch positioning, and coordinated go-to-market efforts with Marketing.
  4. Grow existing accounts by driving multi-product adoption and deepening executive-level relationships.
  5. Attain consumption-based revenue targets through a disciplined, data-driven pipeline operating rhythm.
