This is a Sales Manager role at Stripe, focused on growing and retaining existing high-potential startup customers in EMEA. The role involves leading and coaching a team of Account Executives, directly engaging with users, identifying opportunities to leverage payments for competitive advantage, and driving go-to-market strategies. Responsibilities include recruiting, developing, and leading sales professionals, managing team vision and operations, prioritizing top users, driving deal strategy, coaching sales skills, building customer relationships, and enabling team development. Minimum requirements include 8+ years of sales experience, experience forecasting and managing high growth businesses, autonomy in strategy creation, ability to hire/train/coach sales teams, build executive relationships, and articulate technical concepts. Preferred experience includes knowledge of the EMEA Startups ecosystem.

What you'd actually do

  1. Recruit, develop and lead a team of sales professionals, with a particular focus on the Funded Startup segment across EMEA
  2. Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics
  3. Prioritise top startup users and be accountable for increasing existing revenue at high rates of growth
  4. Driving deal strategy and execution including strong pipeline development, opportunity management, and forecasting
  5. Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle

  • 8+ years of relevant sales experience - particularly managing existing business accounts
