Sales Manager for Uber Eats in Norway, responsible for leading a team to drive merchant growth through sales lifecycle management, negotiation, and coaching. Requires B2B sales and sales leadership experience, with knowledge of the local food delivery industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sales Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans for customer acquisition, monitor the sales pipeline to forecast revenue, and guide account executives through the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals
  2. Negotiation and Deal-Making: Assist Account Executives in closing high-value deals, oversee contract negotiations and approval processes, and develop strategies to overcome objections and accelerate deal closure
  3. Market and Platform Expertise: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics while ensuring the team maintains comprehensive knowledge of the company's products or services
  4. Sales Coaching/Leadership: Track team and individual sales targets, identify and manage risks to achieving goals, proactively manage performance to a high standard, effectively roadmap team activities, demonstrate understanding of required inputs to rebalance workloads or adjust priorities, and articulate a clear vision with strategic focus translated into actionable plans for team members.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on outbound prospecting and high-volume lead generation
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience leading and coaching sales or commercial teams
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles, leading teams of client-facing individuals
  • Experience using data to identify sales opportunities and improving team performance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of the local restaurant, food delivery, or hospitality industry
  • Ability to lead complex projects and initiatives, working effectively across multiple functions and navigating tension to achieve shared goals
