This role is for a National Retail Channel Account Manager at Apple, focusing on new accounts. The primary responsibility is to promote the sales of Apple products and services across the retail sector, devise new channels, and uncover growth areas. The role involves strategizing, developing, and executing sales initiatives, building relationships with senior representatives of retail partners, distributors, and online partners, and maximizing sales to end-users. Key tasks include developing partner sales efficiency, managing forecasts using Apple's tools, conducting performance reviews, planning marketing and in-store/on-line activities, influencing product supply, and collaborating with a virtual team. Experience in channel management, retail sales, merchandising, and forecasting is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will be working closely with the Retail Channel Lead to strategise, develop and execute sales initiatives that drive incremental business outcomes and outstanding Apple customer experience.
  2. To establish and lead a close working relationship with the senior representatives of relevant multi-brand retail partners.
  3. To develop partner sales efficiency and maximise the sales of Apple products to end-users.
  4. Develop and manage a reliable forecast and ensure the disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes.
  5. Hold regular performance and planning reviews with channel partners.

Skills

Required

  • Channel Management and Retail sales experience preferred (at least 8 years)
  • Consistent track record in the delivery of ambitious growth targets
  • Sales management experience / Retail partnership management
  • Direct experience with merchandising plans

Nice to have

  • Experience with online retail industry would be a plus
  • Professional manner, maturity and outstanding customer & partner skills
  • Forecasting, prior quota management and partner management ability
  • Good intuition for business skills in engaging senior partners’ management team
  • Passion, personal drive and a sense of humour
