Sales Operations Analyst

Gusto Gusto · Fintech · Denver, CO +3 · Sales

This role focuses on building AI-powered solutions and automations to enhance the productivity of a sales organization. The analyst will identify, prototype, and embed AI tools into daily workflows, working with various teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness in sales processes. While AI is a core part of the company's operations and this role involves driving AI strategy, the primary function is not to build core AI models but to leverage and integrate AI tools for sales operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards that track pacing, funnel metrics, trigger and backlog health, SLAs, and rep productivity; keep definitions consistent and documentation clear.
  2. Own the weekly forecast, CFQ closed-won ARR pacing, and probability-weighted pipeline forecast, feeding the Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Weekly Forecast Review (WFR) cadence for sales and executive leadership.
  3. Identify and prototype AI and automation tools, such as process automation, analytics copilots, and call coaching, that remove manual friction from the sales process.
  4. Partner with Sales, BizTech, Product, and Enablement to embed AI into daily sales workflows, improving both efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Examine workflows and rep performance to identify bottlenecks; recommend and implement process and automation changes that improve conversion, efficiency, and the rep experience.
